A 6-week course for parents of neurodiverse children
(diagnosed or not)
Sensory Processing awareness to support you, to support your child

The same situations keep going wrong (mornings, getting to school, supermarkets, parties, bedtime).Your child’s reactions seem bigger than the situation, and you want to understand what's happening. You want to reduce conflict in the family and stop every day feeling like negotiation, firefighting, or walking on eggshells.
A clearer sense of your child’s likely pattern (for example, missing cues and seeking more input, noticing everything and avoiding, or feeling overwhelmed quickly).A way to separate behaviour from nervous system stress, so you can respond with more choice and less panic.Better “predictability” you start to spot what situations will be hard and why, so you can plan rather than react.

Elana Moore, MRCOT, PhD, is an occupational therapist supporting children and families to understand sensory needs in everyday life. Her doctoral research explores how sensory processing shapes daily activities and wellbeing. With experience across UK and US schools, she blends clinical practice, sensory processing/integration, and environmental insight to help parents interpret behaviour with compassion and create calmer, supportive routines.Shaen Milward, MRCOT, MA, is an occupational therapist and a psychotherapist in advanced training, with a Master’s in Education. He brings extensive experience in emotional wellbeing, group facilitation, and reflective practice. His style is calm, structured, and relational, with a focus on creating spaces that feel safe, respectful, and genuinely inclusive.Across the six-week programme, parents and carers are offered evidence-informed, practical guidance that can be applied at home, alongside steady support that helps build confidence, connection, and a clearer sense of what to do next.
This course supports parents and carers to understand sensory processing and how it shapes behaviour, stress, focus, connection, and daily functioning. We translate sensory science into practical, accessible strategies you can use at home and in everyday settings. The emphasis is learning, shared language, and realistic change that fits family life.
Rather than assessing your child, we focus on building your understanding of sensory processing as a practical framework. This is an advantage because it equips you with a shared language and a way of thinking that can be applied flexibly, across home routines, school-related stress, and wider family (even yourself!). The aim is confidence and clarity, not labels.
Parents and carers of neurodiverse children (diagnosed or not) who want practical approaches for supporting those they care for.Parents who suspect sensory differences may be shaping behaviour, sleep, eating, routines, transitions, or school stress.Parents who are tired of advice that sounds good but is hard to apply day-to-day.
